How to root succulents?

26 April 2021

After drying, the cutting can be dipped in the rooting powder with the right concentration and then planted out. It is not necessary to moisten the cutting beforehand. Rooting powder has the property to stick to the cutting without moisture. Before planting, a planting hole can be made in the substrate, which prevents the cutting powder from sliding off the cutting. Make sure that the climate in the propagation unit remains constant. In this way, root formation is optimised.

Check the Rooting Guide for the right cutting powder concentration. If a cultivar is not listed or if you have more specific questions about the rooting process, please contact our helpdesk.
