Trial Summary
This experiment highlights the difference between water-formed roots and soil-induced roots supported by Rhizopon 0.25%. Water-rooted cuttings showed poor adaptation after transplanting, as fragile roots degraded and delayed growth. In contrast, Rhizopon-treated cuttings developed functional root systems adapted to soil from the start, with even root formation and higher survival rates. The trial emphasizes why rooting directly in substrate is essential for commercial propagation.
